What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Together with similar tools (such as the browser's local storage) they make a site work or remember a choice. This page lists what we use, in line with the Italian data protection authority's cookie guidelines of 10 June 2021 and Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code.

What we always use: technical tools

They are not used for tracking and do not need consent. The site sets no cookies of its own for profiling or advertising.

  • ms-consent (browser local storage): remembers your cookie choice and its date. It stays until you change it or clear the site's data.
  • Request form draft (sessionStorage): keeps your text while you fill in the form, in that one tab only. It disappears when you close the tab.
  • Server technical logs handled by our hosting provider Vercel for security and operation: see the privacy policy.

What we use only with your consent: statistics

The site is prepared for Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC), to understand which pages help and how to improve them. Until you accept, no Google script is loaded and no statistics cookie is saved: the site tells Google that consent is denied (Consent Mode v2) and loads the tool only after you press "Accept".

If you accept, Google may save the cookies _ga and _ga_<property ID> to tell visits apart. IP addresses are anonymised. The maximum lifetime is the one stated in Google's own documentation, to be checked when the tool is switched on. [DA FORNIRE: GA4 measurement ID and cookie lifetime checked when going live]

We use no marketing cookies, no advertising pixels and no embedded third-party maps or videos.

How to change or withdraw your choice

Refusing statistics is as easy as accepting them: one click on "Reject" in the banner, and the site works the same either way.

You can change your choice at any time with the button below, or with the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings: every browser has its own guide, for example Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge.
