Matrimonio Siciliano exists for couples who want to marry in western Sicily without having to guess who to trust, what is really possible and how long each transfer takes.

We are based in Mazara del Vallo and work in the part of Sicily we know first-hand: Trapani, Marsala and its salt pans, Scopello, Erice and the Egadi Islands. We do not claim to know the whole island, and we would rather tell you so.
For a wedding, local knowledge means practical things: how long it really takes to get from one place to another, where guests can park or have to walk, what the light is like at ceremony time, what to do when the wind changes the plan. These are the questions we answer before they turn into problems, which matters most when you are planning from abroad.
What we do
We start with you: a date or a season, your guest count, the kind of day you picture. From there we help you choose an area and a venue, suggest the right professionals (planning, photography, video, day-of coordination), check availability for your date and send you a written proposal, item by item.
On the wedding day we coordinate suppliers and timings, so you can spend it with your guests and each other.
How we choose professionals
There is no catalogue to pick from at random. For each wedding we look for the right people for your idea and your budget. When we assess a professional:
- we look at complete weddings, not only the best shots;
- we speak to the person who will actually be there on the day;
- we ask for a quote that spells out what is included and what is not;
- we check availability, access and timing for your date before suggesting anyone.
What we do not do
We do not promise venues we cannot verify. The photos on this site are real Sicilian landscapes chosen for inspiration: they are not available venues and not weddings we have produced, and we say so on every page.
We do not publish reviews, figures or names we cannot prove. Couples' stories will appear when we have their written consent.
